Thank you for your interest in this survey on methods used by recreational fishers and charter operators to reduce or avoid shark bite-offs. Your participation will help inform policy and research that addresses the shark depredation concerns for recreational fishers in Western Australia, particularly in the northern areas of the state. It is important that information from fishers across the recreational fishing sector are included in the results of this survey.
This survey is voluntary. If you change your mind at any point in the survey before submitting it, then your information will not be collected. All data collected is anonymous and will be treated as confidential. The results of this research may be presented at workshops or published in professional journals. The survey should take no more than fifteen minutes to complete.
